The blessing, not the curse? Life, and not death? But how
can we now separate them, seeing that
to live we often have to work for death?
(The corporation: unliving. Yet immortal.)
Choose life, and you choose death. You activate
the curse of those who've chosen death to live.
Who put us in this bind? Ha-Shem? May we
ask what you meant?

I guess we're on our own.

My prayer: that if need be we find the strength
to suffer death for having chosen life
rather than live, each day, by choosing death.
